This 1975 Fender Telecaster from is an excellent example of a mid '70s four bolt neck Telecaster, with classic Tele tones and looks while being at the more affordable end of vintage Fender guitars. This Telecaster features an Ash body with a faded sunburst finish. The neck has a typical '70s slim 'D' profile and is very comfortable in the hand. The original single coil bridge pickup features all the clarity and bite you would expect from a tele bridge pickup, with a punchier sounding neck pickup thanks to the added Stratocaster spec pickup in that position. Other features include the correct 'F' stamped tuners used by Fender at the time, a three chrome barrel saddle bridge, and the ashtray bridge cover.
This guitar is in good condition with, with some large areas of lacquer cracking and wear around the lower edge of the guitar, primarily around the jack socket. The guitar is internally and externally original with the exception of a replacement '80s Strat pickup in the neck position and a changed tone pot. The original volume pot dates to the 42nd week of 1973, and a treble bleed has also been added to the circuitry.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
