This 1974 Fender Telecaster is an excellent example of a mid '70s four bolt neck Telecaster, with classic Tele tones and looks while being at the more affordable end of vintage Fender guitars. This Telecaster features an Ash body with a nicely aged see through blonde finish that shows off the grain of the wood and has yellowed slightly over time. The neck has a typical '70s 'C' profile and is very comfortable in the hand, with the frets only having minimal wear. The original single coil pickups feature all the clarity and top end you would expect from a telecaster bridge, with the traditional mellow sound from the neck position. Other features include the correct 'F' stamped tuners used by Fender at the time, a three chrome barrel saddle bridge, and the ashtray bridge cover.
This guitar is in very good condition, sporting a nice amount of natural play wear, which is less common for these poly finishes. The guitar is internally and externally original save for the tone pot, which dates to 1976, and a replacement 3 way switch.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
