The Night Wire V2 takes the concept of harmonic tremolo further by offering adjustable center points for both filters, providing a range of tones. The filter frequency operates in three modes: Manual, LFO, and Attack. In Manual mode, you can set a fixed position using the frequency control. LFO mode continuously sweeps the filters, with the frequency control adjusting the speed. Attack mode dynamically responds to pick attacks, with the frequency control acting as a range adjuster.
The tremolo section features two modes: Manual and Attack. In Manual mode, the rate control governs the tremolo speed. In Attack mode, pick attack controls the speed, and the rate adjusts sensitivity – pick harder for faster rates and vice versa. The depth control shapes the tremolo from subtle shimmers to intense throbbing, offering a wide spectrum of rhythmic possibilities.
With the depth set to zero, the Night Wire V2 transforms into a fixed filter, phase shifter, or envelope-controlled filter, depending on the filter frequency mode. The cut/boost volume control ensures precise level adjustments.
