The Recording King Torrefied Adirondack Spruce Triple 0 guitar combines torrefied wood and a smaller Triple 0 body shape to give an authentic vintage acoustic tone. The Recording King Torrefied models utilise the torrefication process for the Spruce top wood, which involves heating the wood at a low temperature in an oxygen free environment. The result is similar to that of a vintage acoustic where the wood has dried out over a number of years, making the Adirondack Spruce top lightweight and extra resonant compared to a normal new guitar. Combined with X-bracing, the Recording King Torrefied Adirondack Spruce Triple 0 offers a true vintage tone usually the reserve of instruments with years of playing in them.
The Triple 0 body size found originally on Martin acoustic guitars has been one of the most popular acoustic guitar styles for a number of years, with a slightly smaller profile body perfect for singer songwriters, finger style players and guitarists across a range of styles. This guitar features Mahogany back and sides, along with vintage style celluloid binding and pickguard, a bone nut and vintage style 1 3/4 nut width.
Recording King specialise in bringing vintage acoustic tones and style of the past back to life for the modern player, with solid woods, modern appointments and classic Americana styling across the range.
