The Guild D-240E Flamed Mahogany offers the powerful tone of a classic dreadnought, enhanced by premium tonewoods and elegant details. Featuring a solid spruce top and exotic flamed mahogany back and sides, this guitar delivers a rich, meaty tone with dynamic response, perfect for strumming or fingerpicking.

Guild’s historic archback design amplifies bass response and projection, ensuring a full-bodied sound that resonates beautifully. The dreadnought body shape provides balanced voicing, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of musical styles.

Equipped with the Guild Fishman GT-1 Pickup System, the D-240E Flamed Mahogany is stage and studio-ready, offering easy volume and tone control for amplified performances. Premium features include a pau ferro fingerboard and bridge, a bone nut and saddle for enhanced resonance, a mother-of-pearl rosette, and a tortoiseshell pickguard. The satin polyurethane finish not only protects the guitar but also highlights its striking wood grain.

The Westerly Collection pays homage to an important period in Guild’s early history, when Guild outgrew the beloved Hoboken, New Jersey factory, and moved production to Westerly, Rhode Island in 1967.
