This 2007 Gretsch White Falcon G6136-LDS is a high-end hollow body with standout looks and classic Gretsch tone. Finished in gloss white nitrocellulose lacquer with the typical gold sparkle binding and hardware, it offers striking aesthetics matched by its bold, articulate tone.
This LDS model features a set of upgraded TV Jones handwound DynaSonic pickups, a fixed Synchro-Sonic bridge for enhanced sustain and tuning stability, and a fully hollow laminated maple body for open, resonant tone. The "U"-shaped maple neck with bound ebony fingerboard delivers smooth, comfortable playability with a vintage feel.
This guitar is in excellent condition, with no real play wear to speak of, and some beautiful natural yellowing and patina having already started to nicely age the finish. It is internally and externally original with the exception of the pickups, which have been upgraded, with the original Gretsch made pickups retained in the case. This guitar also includes a non original Hiscox hard case.
