1997 Squier Super-Sonic

Introduced in 1996 as part of the Japanese made Vista Series, the Squier Super-Sonic has become something of a cult classic among Fender offset enthusiasts in recent years. Supposedly inspired by images of Hendrix playing Fender offsets upside down, the Squier Super-Sonic features and upside down Jaguar style offset body made off Basswood and fitted with a set of ceramic humbucker pickups. The neck features a Rosewood fingerboard and comfortable 'C' shape profile, along with a reverse headstock design. Manufactured in the FujiGen Fender Japan factory, the original Vista Series Super-Sonic models were released in four finishes, with the Blue & Silver Sparkle colours being by far the most sought after.

As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
