The Fender American Vintage series was the companies top of the line, vintage correct range of guitars for a number of years before being discontinued in 2017, and continued the heritage of USA made instruments by recreating some of their most iconic guitars with an incredible level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. This 1996 Fender '57 Reissue Stratocaster is a great example of the Corona made vintage reissues, after the production was relocated from Fullerton in 1985, and features an Alder body with a vintage style 2 tone sunburst lacquer finish, along with a maple neck that sports a comfortable 'D' shaped profile. Every detail helps to recreate the tone and feel of a vintage model, from the Fender spaghetti decal to the white single ply guard guard, Kluson style tuners and body contour carve.
This guitar is in very good condition, with no major signs of play wear to speak of. This guitar includes its original tweed case and Fender care manual.
