This 1987 Fender '62 Reissue Telecaster Custom is a superb example of early Japanese Fender craftsmanship. Instruments from Fender Japan in the 1980s are highly regarded for their build quality and faithful attention to vintage specs, offering exceptional value for money. This particular model is a reissue of the 1962 Telecaster Custom, retaining many of the original's classic design elements. It features an Alder body with a vintage-style 3-Tone Sunburst finish and the signature body binding seen on early Custom models. Equipped with Japanese-made single coil pickups, it delivers a warm, articulate vintage tone that closely captures the character of original '60s pickups. The tinted gloss Maple neck sports a comfortable slim 'C' profile and a traditional four-bolt joint.
