An excellent example of the more affordable end of vintage Fender guitars, this 1979 Fender Stratocaster Anniversary showcases many of the features that these '70s made Fender instruments became known for. Featuring a Maple neck an Alder body, and the distinctive larger headstock that makes these guitars so recognisable. These Anniversary models marked 25 years of the Strat, and featured both a custom upper horn decal and neck plate.
This guitar is in very good condition, with only minimal signs of play wear to the edges and rear of the body. This guitar weighs just over 10lbs. This guitar appears internally and externally original, with pots dating the the 44th week of 1979 and the three single coil pickups present and correct. The Schaller made Fender tuners and all other hardware is original and fully functional. This guitar also includes a period case.
