An excellent example of the more affordable end of vintage Fender guitars, this 1979 Fender Stratocaster showcases many of the features that these '70s made Fender instruments became known for. Featuring a Maple neck an Alder body, and the distinctive larger headstock that makes these guitars so recognisable.
This guitar is in very good condition, with some small areas of play wear to the back of the neck. The body has been refinished in a natural stain which now shows of the guitars wood grain. The neck has been refretted and a new nut fitted at some point in its life, leaving it playing excellently. The original bridge pickup has been replaced with a Warman single coil sized humbucker, although the original pickup has been retained. This guitar also includes a non original modern Fender hard case.
As with all our instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
