1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe On Hold On Hold The Gibson Les Paul Deluxe was introduced in 1969 along side other Les Paul models that marked a return to the '50s style single cutaway body shape. Initially produced as gold top models, the Les Paul Deluxe featured a set of mini humbuckers akin to the 'New York' style pickups used on earlier Epiphone models, and though these guitars did reach the same levels of popularity as the more traditional spec Les Paul Custom models of the same period, the Deluxe has gone on to become something of a cult favourite due to the unique sound of the mini humbuckers. This 1975 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe is a fantastic example, featuring a nicely faded Tobacco Sunburst finish and a great sounding set of pickups. This guitar features a Mahogany pancake body along with a Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. The tuners have been upgraded to Grovers at some point in the guitars life, although a repro set of period correct Gibson Deluxe tuners are now fitted. The original mini humbuckers offer a clarity and dynamic range that sets the apart from both humbuckers and single coils, offering a unique range of tones. The wiring and pots are original and full functional, along with the bridge and tailpiece and control knobs. The bridge has been replaced and repositioned for improved intonation, with the previous holes filled and visible just below the bridge. This guitar is in very good condition, with some signs of play wear and patina to the finish, primarily to the back of the guitar. As with all our vintage instruments, this guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by the luthier at the Vintage Instrument Workshop and is guaranteed for 3 years in line with our vintage instrument warranty. Includes non original case.
