There is nothing quite like the semi-hollow, woodsy tone of a Gibson thinline, and this left-handed 1974 ES-335 is not only a great specimen, but also uncommon.
This guitar is in very good condition, with a dark cherry finish that is free from any excessive play wear. The neck features the slimmer neck profile associated with early '70s models, but is extremely comfortable to play.
The electronics, pickups and hardware are all original, with a chrome saddle Schaller made Gibson bridge in place and a set of Patent No. pickups that offer all the woody hollowbody tone you could want from a Gibson of this period. The bridge pickup cover has previously been removed, and the caps appear to have been changed, although the original pots are present and correct with codes showing 137 74XX. The pickguard, control knobs and Grover tuners are all newer.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
