A '60s Fender Stratocaster is one of the most iconic instruments in guitar history, having been used throughout the last 50 years by some of the most prominent musicians in music. This 1969 Stratocaster is a fantastic example of a later '60s Strat, with plenty of vibe and all the hallmarks of the period.
The Alder body is finished in a typical '60s 3 colour sunburst, and although there is plenty of beautiful patina and play wear, it has still retained its vibrant burst. The Maple neck features a Rosewood fretboard and a comfortable '60s 'C' style neck profile that is effortlessly playable, along with CBS era large headstock design that makes these guitars so recognisable. The pickups are original and retain all the chimey character that you would expect from these guitars.
This guitar is in very good condition, with obvious signs of play wear that are commensurate with age. It is in all original condition, with the original electronics, pickups and finish all present and correct.
This guitar has been given a full service by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
