This 1956 Gibson LG-3 is one of the finest examples of this model that we have seen.
The Gibson LG-3 was produced between 1942 and 1962, with a small break during World War 2, and was one of the higher spec small bodied acoustics offered by Gibson at this time, with the more resonant X bracing and a natural spruce top.
Featuring scalloped X bracing and built extremely lightly, making for a tone that is open, responsive and resonant. The neck profile is a comfortable, with the more rounded, low profile 'C' feel found on models from this period.
This guitar is in exceptional original condition for an instrument of its age, with very few signs of play wear. The only changes coming by way of replacement tuners and a replacement saddle. Includes non-original hard shell case.
