1939 Supro 60 Lapsteel & Amp in Case

Initially introduced in 1935 as a subsidiary brand by National, Supro guitars and amplifiers have gone on to be regarded as some of the coolest instruments produced during the golden years of musical instrument manufacturing in the USA. With a unique style and tone compared to that of other companies at the time, Supro instruments have featured on more rock, blues and soul records than most people would imagine. This Supro 60 Lapsteel & Amp set is a fantastic example of the pre-war Supro years under the National brand. Both amp & steel have an amazing retro Americana look, and a punchy sound that breaks up in a typically Supro way. The Lapsteel is in very good, all original condition. The amplifier is also in very good condition, and features its original Jensen 10" speaker, delivering around 10 watts of power and doubling up excellently as a gritty, bluesy guitar amplifier.

This instrument has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
