The design is based on the modified Explorer associated with Eric Clapton, and gives the normally large and angular Explorer an even more distinctive appearance.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBuilt as a limited production model, it follows the 1958 reissue specification with a Korina style construction, Custombucker pickups, Bumblebee style capacitors and Grover tuners. The VOS treatment gives the finish and hardware a lightly aged appearance, rather than making the guitar look completely new, while retaining the feel of a historic reissue. Gibson's 1958 Explorer reissues use the original model as their reference, with Korina construction and vintage style appointments.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis guitar is internally and externally original and is in excellent condition. It is supplied with its original case.
