A beautiful instrument form the Gibson Custom Shop luthiers, this Peter Frampton Signature Les Paul Custom recreates the 1954 three pickup Les Paul used by Frampton throughout most of his career, and is even signed by the man himself. As per Peter Framptons own personal specifications, this guitar features a slimmer neck profile than the traditional vintage spec, a weight relieved Mahogany body with Maple top, and traditional gold hardware and mother of pearl inlays and split diamond headstock logo.
The body is fitted with a 57 Classic in the neck position, a 57 Classic Plus in the middle, and a 500T in the bridge. The 3-way selector switch is custom wired so that the middle pickup is always on, with the outer pickups sharing a volume and tone control, and a dedicated set of volume and tone knobs for the middle pickup allowing you to blend it in to the signal.
This guitar is in excellent condition including its original case, and is undoubtedly a real collectors piece with Peter Frampton having signed the instrument in 2005.
