Made in Bozemna, Montana, this 2015 Gibson Custom Shop Southern Jumbo is a great example of a modern recreation of one of Gibson's most recognisable vintage models.
This guitar is an exceptional example of a Gibson Custom Shop acoustic guitar, showcasing the craftmanship that came from the sadly now closed Bozeman factory. Constructed from a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and side, this Southern Jumbo stays true to its vintage counterparts with a punchy, resonant sound with a tight low end and plenty of top end sparkle and clarity. The Mahogany neck features a Rosewood fingerboard with slim tape neck, along with pearled crown peghead inlay and split parallelogram fretboard inlays. Other features include gold open gear Waverley tuners, a belly up rosewood bridge and LR Baggs pickup system.
This guitar is in excellent condition and has been very well looked after, with almost no signs of play wear to speak of. This guitar also includes its original case.
This guitar has been given a full service and appraisal by our luthiers at the Vintage Instrument Workshop, and includes a 3 year warranty.
